Within this Ident it presents us with some sort of intertwining image, creating a sense of mystery which is one convention we think of when looking at thrillers. The colours used are dull and dark giving a sense of eeriness which also suggests the theme of the film is mysterious involving suspense. The logo links to the genre as we think of dark, mysterious things when looking into thrillers. The image seems sort of a maze, this implies mystery and suspense straight away. This Ident links to the conventions of a thriller film.

The DreamWorks company is a family, fantasy film company often producing light hearted, comedic, animated films. The company use mainly blues and whites within the Ident, which suggests the theme of the films being created are calm and family friendly. The companies Ident links to the genre as the films they create are fun, happy and friendly which is what the Ident suggests.
